Users can click the Titles List button on the button bar to see titles and publication date of retrieved documents. This list partially overlays the document display area; at the top is a message indicating how many documents match the query, e.g. 100 Books Match Your Query Altogether. The list is segmented in up to three places according to how well the documents match the query, and delimited by appropriate headings, e.g.

*** 50 books match your query fairly well ***
*** 26 books match your query, but not very well ***.
See Section 2.3.2 for a discussion of the algorithm used to determine the position of these messages. Users can click on any title in the list to see the full document display, or select it immediately into the pool of relevant documents.
